the meaning of equality between men and women to include
church government. They reinterpret, according to their
theological desires, the passages in the Bible that address
these issues and retranslate specific Hebrew and Greek
words to open church government to women. To support
their views, they redefine the meaning of a husband being
the head of his wife.
